Politics off the cuff...

I wouldn’t trust a politician that’s in bed with the far right as far as I could spit. Although he might be the lesser of two evils, I would also give a wide berth to a southpaw liberal proclaiming he’d cut off his right arm to make my life better. I would definitely turn a deaf ear to a shirtless loud mouth who swears he would give me the shirt off his back. That being so, the day will come when it’s time to fish and cut bait. Until that day, I’ll be waiting with baited breath for words which will tip the scale for me. Having said that, I realize that relying on the opinion of others to make a choice, is like the blind leading the blind. Last but not least, once I bite the bullet, I hope my pick will not resort to bait and switch. The bottom line is that when it comes to politics, you can bet your bottom dollar that the candidates will drive you up the wall
