A pot calling the kettle black

Sequestration which is gripping the nation is more than a tempest in a teapot. The consequences to the economy and unemployment are no small potatoes and ultimately could cause this country to go to pot. The debate in Congress over remedies has been reduced to the pot calling the kettle black. Republicans want Democrats to sweeten the pot. Democrats point out that the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow belongs to everyone, not just the very rich. The President has made it clear that Congress should shit or get off the pot. None of the rhetoric so far has hit the spot. Looking at how dysfunctional Congress has been recently, one can only conclude that a Leopard never changes its spots and ultimately it will be up to the President to save the day. He cannot wait much longer. A watched pot never boils.
