Six (6) of one (1), half a dozen of another

In my book, by far the most descriptive  of cliches is "Six (6) of one (1), half a dozen of another". It leaves nothing to the imagination when comparing similar choices. This is especially true in the political arena. As the kettle starts to boil for the upcoming races to secure the nomination for President there will be some interesting choices. Right off the bat the pundits would have us believe that the odds are high that Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush will face off in 2016. If so, making a choice will boil down to six of one, half a dozen of the other. In my humble opinion neither  would provide the leadership necessary for this country to remain a superpower. To add fuel to the fire, not being a fan of Hillary or Jeb when it comes to making a choice between the two, another cliche comes into play. Making a choice between the two is like naming your poison. That being said, I must add that once a choice is made, it is well to remember that one man's trash is another man's treasure.

If the reader has concluded that this post is just a bunch of cliches, he or she has hit it right on the button or if preferred, has hit the nail on the head. Making the choice is six of one, half a dozen of the other.
